Biography

David Lumber has lived and practiced law in McAllen since 1998. During that time, Mr. Lumber’s practice has included personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, insurance litigation, appellate litigation and bankruptcy litigation. Building upon his academic background, Mr. Lumber particularly enjoys handling cases involving complex issues. Additionally, Mr. Lumber’s knowledge of the law is widespread and diverse. Mr. Lumber’s approach to the practice of law is based upon pragmatism-understanding the potential outcomes for a case and balancing the best result with expedience in resolution.

Mr. Lumber has tried basic personal injury cases, a tortious interference with business relationship cases, insurance disputes, and cases in bankruptcy. Additionally, Mr. Lumber has successfully handled and argued several cases which were appealed to higher courts, with many of those appeals being published in the law reporters.
